The Beginning

Honorguard Coffee was born from a place of necessity and purpose. After leaving the military, our founder, Steven, faced a difficult transition to civilian life. Like many veterans, he struggled with the weight of combat-related trauma and the loss of the camaraderie and purpose that military life provides. At his lowest point, Steven found hope and healing through his service dog, Venus. This life-changing bond sparked a question: How could more veterans gain access to this kind of support?

The Mission: Support Veterans

Every day, an average of 16.8 veterans lose their battle to suicide—a crisis that demands action. Honorguard was founded to combat this reality by providing a lifeline through service dogs. These dogs are more than companions; they are trained to meet the specific needs of veterans, helping them navigate challenges like PTSD and regain independence.

Why We Do What We Do

Steven’s journey with Venus revealed the incredible power of service dogs. But it also highlighted a glaring issue: access to these life-saving animals is limited, and the cost can be prohibitive. Honorguard was created to bridge this gap. By combining a mission-driven business model with high-quality products, Honorguard generates the resources needed to fund service dog programs and help veterans reclaim their lives.

How it Works

Honorguard donates 25% of its profits to nonprofit organizations that train and pair service dogs with veterans. Whether through direct donations, partnerships, or in-house training initiatives, every cup of coffee sold contributes to saving a veteran’s life.

The Road Ahead

Our mission is ambitious: to provide every veteran in need with access to a service dog. It’s a goal we can only achieve with the support of a growing community dedicated to making a difference. Together, we’re not just building a business—we’re building a movement.
